At Bargara Beach Holistic Health Centre we carry out a range of tests to help analyse your current state of well-being.
Some tests are carried out in the clinic, others are done through a laboratory.
See the lists below for further information on the types of tests available:
Testing Appointments cost $150 (unless otherwise stated) and run for 30 minutes. They are conducted by our Assistant Naturopath and generally include:
- Oxidative Stress (OS) : Finger-prick blood analysis to check for imbalance between free radical production and the existing anti-oxidant capacity of your body. OS can lead to, or accelerate, the progress of disease. OS detection therefore allows the development of intervention strategies which can contribute to the delay in progression of a disease and may improve health outcomes.
- Vitality, Longevity and Ageing (VLA, $85) : measurement of fat and lean tissue mass. VLA measures the key parameters of body composition which enables monitoring of fat loss/muscle gain protocols.
